I can't believe it's been nearly 4 months since the last video!
I've had so many deadlines for this project and they kept moving back time and time again! I mean, I don't have a specific reason to have a deadline, they are just time frames that I personally want to achieve however sometimes life happens and lot's of things are out of my control... but nevertheless it is almost complete!
Here are a few photos from my phone to give you an idea of how the final project will look:
There is quite a lot of detail and there could be so much more, however I have to finish the project at some point! I could keep adding detail for another year if I wanted! Slight exaggeration but I'm probably not fat off.
I think one of my favorite details on this is the large electrical box, up against the building wall. I'm not sure what it is but I think the colour and the weathering/rust chipping really draws my attention to it.
A close second would have to be the phone booth. It's roughly modelled of an American prototype phone booth from one image online... so there is probably a lot wrong with it however I think the overall feel is achieved and from a distance it looks good.
It was quite the challenge to 3D print given that it had such fine detail but sure enough it turned out quite well.
Be sure to stay tuned over the next few days, I've just finished recording the voice over and am about half way through editing the video, the only thing that needs to be done are the final photo shoot and some final touches to the editing in terms of graphics. The finished product is not too far away 😊
